PAYMENTS: A 30% of total rental cost or $100.00 (whichever is higher) down payment is due at the time the contract is signed. 30% is due within 60 days of event date and final payment MUST be received no later than 14 days prior to the event.

POLICY ON SERVING ALCOHOL: RENTER IS REQUIRED TO DO ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:
- PROVIDE A LIQUOR LIABILITY CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE THAT NAMES MONTICELLO OPERA HOUSE INC. AS AN ADDITIONAL INSURED IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,000,000.00 (possibly available as a rider on homeowner's insurance)
- PAY ADDITIONAL FEE OF $25 PER HOUR; $20 PER HOUR FOR MEMBERS, PER SERVER, FOR BARTENDING SERVICE OF RENTER-SUPPLIED ALCOHOL
- MONTICELLO OPERA HOUSE WILL PROVIDE CASH BAR WITH FREE BARTENDING SERVICE, PROVIDE ALL ALCOHOL AND RETAIN PROFITS
IF ALCOHOL IS TO BE PROVIDED, RENTER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL SET UPS: GLASSES/CUPS, NAPKINS, ICE, ETC...
IF ONE OF THESE OPTIONS IS NOT CHOSEN, NO ALCOHOL MAY BE CONSUMED ON THE PROPERTY. VIOLATION OF THIS COULD RESULT IN IMMEDIATE EXPULSION OF RENTER & ATTENDEES WITH NO REFUND OF FEES.
ADDITIONAL $120.00 FEE FOR USE OF THE GARDEN IN CONJUNCTION WITH RENTAL OF THE DOWNSTAIRS BAY AREA.
ADDITIONAL $725.00 FEE FOR USE OF THE THEATER IN CONJUNCTION WITH RENTAL OF THE DOWNSTAIRS BAY.
THEATER LIGHTING/SOUND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE AT $38.00 PER HOUR AND MUST BE HIRED IF THE OPERA HOUSE STAGE LIGHTS OR SOUND SYSTEM ARE USED.
CANCELLATION AFTER THE SEVENTH (7) DAY OF SIGNED CONTRACT WILL RESULT IN THE FORFEITURE OF THE DOWN PAYMENT.

INCLEMENT WEATHER: It is the responsibility of the renter to have an inclement weather plan in place. If the event is moved into the Reception Hall (if available), Reception Hall rental rates will apply.
