3rd Annual Southern Music Rising Music Festival. This event kicks off Friday, 7:00 PM with a huge concert on stage featuring Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper (IMBA award winning band). Friday Tickets $15. Enjoy bluegrass and folk music on stage, in the garden and throughout the town beginning at 11 AM Saturday; all day pass $10. Book your room and purchase tickets in advance. The Opera House Stage Company presents Wheel Of Murder, a game show Murder Mystery Dinner Theater. A fan favorite at the Opera House, it often sells out so reserve early. Will someone ‘die’ at your feet?! Will you survive the game? Solve the crime(s) and win a prize. Doors open 6:30 PM dinner/show begin 7:00 PM, Price TBA

Children’s Theater is perfect for ‘kids’ of all ages. The original musical Creepy Crawly will be presented during the Watermelon Festival, Friday evening after Rotary’s BBQ Dinner and Saturday immediately following the parade. If you’re too busy on festival weekend, or it’s so good you want to see it again, return the second weekend to see the show. Doors open Friday 6:30 PM, show begins at 7:00 PM. Doors open Saturday 10:30 AM, show begins at 11:00 AM. Have a summer camp program? We’ll offer a special campers’ engagement; call for details!
